my favorite, FAVORITE toy isssssssssssssssssss lala loopsy cause she pees and poops out charms that you can wear on a bracelet but you have to clean them off first

my favorite fruit is sour grapes, i mean, both the grapes, watermelon, not watermelon, pineapple, strawberries... let me go look at the fridge, and bananas

my library book that i got today, not today, a long time ago

Maclaren | 11 months

- 19lbs

-She is crawling and taking steps

- loves to eat pretty much everything plus still breastfed

- loves baby dolls

- loves to crawl up in Kinsley's pottery barn chair, rocking chair and toddler bed

- loves to color, put lids on and off chalk markers, great fine motor skills

-goes up and down the stairs (though we still keep a gate up and stay with her)

- She enjoys walks, swings and exploring the playground… she is learning to eat less of the sand/grass/ rocks/ wood chips

-no teeth yet

Night Night Routine- 6:30- turn the waves noise on on her sleep sheep, nurse her while we rock, sing "you are my sunshine" x2 and lay her down, give kisses and wave bye

She still doesn't sleep through the night- goes down at 6:30… latest she'll go is until 5am, then we are up by 7:30. (that's a "good" night).

-Things I love: her huge grin from ear to ear with a big gummy smile, her hugs, watching her be so smart, watching her try to do everything that kins does

- things I don't like- trips where I can't put her down- she is horrible with trying to stand in a cart (even while buckled), she pushes against my weight to get down if I'm holding her or she's in the ergo… occasionally she'll go on my back in the ergo or a stroller is better- as long as we keep moving

Interview with Kins- 3yrs, 5months | 41 months

1. What is something that mommy says to you?

"um clean up my toys so it wouldn't be a messy room so it would be nice and queen ("clean")"

2. What makes you happy?

"when we share"

3. what makes you sad?

"when we pull and hurt somebody"

4. what makes you laugh?

"tickling me because that makes me laugh"

5. how old are you?

"thwee"

6. How old is mommy?

"five months"

7. How old is daddy?

"i would guess four months"

8. What's your favorite thing to do?

"play with my toys, silly"

9. Who is your best friend?

"ansley"

10. What are you really good at?

"puzzels"

11. What did you do today?

"played!"

"um..bananas"

"song? let it go"

"pink and gold"

"bunny rabbit"

Maclaren | 8months

She loves to climb, crawl, explore and get into everything (fireplace, kinsley's pb chair, the toilet, the end table, foxy's food, the chalkboard chalk, etc

She loves to eat! She loves finger foods! She's tried black beans, egg yolk scrambled, peas, carrots, green beans, mozzarella, turkey, chicken, and puffs.

She loves sensory toys and baby dolls (especially that make noise). She loves toys that light up and books that have buttons (like Minnie's bow-tique). She also likes the daddy doll from Kinsley's doll house.

She says mama mama and dada.

She still gets extremely upset when others hold her and makes a scene. I take full responsibility for that but I still could use a break now and then.

I love the way her and Kinsley start playing together… even when Maclaren is really just sucking on and shaking the toys.. she still considers them playing doll house together ha.

The sharing/ fighting over toys has begun. They both want the same toys. They want the same dolls and Maclaren doesn't have a ton of her own (just dolls that jingle or are plush).. apparently she wants the "real" ones that blink and make noise. Now I have two girls that cry or get upset leaving the doll aisle at the store lol.

Puzzle time with Kins has to be quick since maclaren will get a piece and make it too soggy to use. It's really hard carving out special time with Kinsley.
