I can't believe we are getting closer and closer to a YEAR! oh my! These 7 months have been nothing short of amazing! I can't believe all the things baby's do in the first 6 or 7 months!
Here's what's been going on:
Kinsley drank apple juice (with a little warm water) out of a sippy cup for the first time a couple days ago. She hasn't really got the hang of tipping it up by herself yet, but she LOVED the juice!
She got sick for the very first time a couple weeks ago. She had a fever and some respiratory infection. We solved it with some home remedies and prayer, thankfully. It was so sad to see her hurt :(
She got a new car. Well, a toy car that is a walker. She likes playing the music while we push her around the house. She only knows how to go backwards so far.
She's still sleeping great at night and now she's been taking a 3 hr nap mid morning and another 30 min power nap late afternoon.
Daddy took her out by himself for the first time the other day. BIG STEPS! They went to wal-mart just to run a quick errand, mommy was glad and nervous at the same time.
She hasn't said any words yet. She just laughs when I look at her and say "ma ma ma ma ma" or "da da da da da."
She is a rollie pollie for sure. She starts in one place and ends up on the other side of the room. She can push up on her arms but she can't pull her belly up quite yet. She'll hold it up for a second or two and then drop and kick her legs.
She loves sticking her hand out for foxy to lick her. She also laughs when we pull out the medicine cabinet mirror in the bathroom, and make it look like there are three of us and she stares at a different "her" until i look at the one she's looking at. She likes to fly (under my arm turned horizontal).
She's so much fun at this stage! Every day is something different! I love her so much!
We just celebrated our first Christmas with her, but I'll post an entire post dedicated to it after we finish up 2 more events tomorrow!
