Lots going on at the Porter House...
MISS FOXY
Yesterday Foxy had an issue with a molar trying to come out.. making her claw herself trying to get it out and almost chewing on it.. so my dad rushed us all the way down town to our vet and my mom stayed with Kins. They had JUST gotten here from Paris and hadn't even made it home!They gave fox some pain meds, updated her shots, and $200 later she had an appt for surgery and dental cleaning the next day to remove the tooth plus possibly some others YIKES!
She's at the vet right now and I know that she had to have some other teeth pulled.. I have no idea what to expect my poor little 8yr old pup to look like-- not to mention my BILL! Thank you Lord for PROVIDING!
OFF THE MARKET!
We decided to take our house OFF the market! Shocking since it is prime selling season, but we were only putting it up in hopes of building one house in one neighborhood with everything we wanted. We talked to the builder and the incentives were going away and even if we sold that day it wouldn't get the incentives we originally wanted and it wouldn't be done til late november... so we decided to just stay and actually LIVE again for a while.SO we are deciding to update the kitchen! Not in the hopes of selling it, but actually what WE want. Gray and his dad went to look at appliances yesterday and they might even be here this weekend! I'll definitely post pics along the way!
Wedding season gears up April 20th! Every Saturday til June is either a wedding I'm shooting or one we'll attend. Uncle Zac and Lindsey are getting married May 11th and I cannot WAIT to post her bridal pics!
SUMMER TIME
The first weekend of June, I think is when we are going to do Kinsley's bday party. We want to do it at our house again now that we know we will be here!Then the second weekend Gray and I have planned our FIRST getaway without the babe! We are heading to Santa Monica, CA! I can't wait to take him back to some of my favorite places I grew up going to. He's never been past Texas! We are just going for a long weekend so I hope I can detach from Kins enough to enjoy it! It's all booked so no turning back now! We might do the TMZ tour bus lol, a braves/dodgers game, the coffee bean, 3rd street promenade shopping, santa monica pier and SUR tops our list of things to do so far. Let me know if you have a good suggestion! This will be my first time going without the 'rents! I HAVE to recreate this pic my sis took when she went out there.. this was a step with both sat on outside our home in Redondo Beach!
Then in July we are going for the Porter family beach trip down to Surfside for over a week! Kins always loves playing at the water's edge and in a little pool. I think she'll love it even more this year!
Only 4 more weeks of school, then graduation, then SUMMER! Yay! It's going to be busy and great!
