Funny Things:
-dada tries to "get her nose" and the other night at dinner she was trying to get her own
- she likes to take every condiment out of the bottom self on the fridge door and sit them on the floor. Sometimes i find hot sauce in the cabinet and dressing in her chair. Thank goodness i'm watching her do it, otherwise we'd be missing things for a while
- sometimes when Gray and I greet each other we say "hi's" -- it's like our own special kinsley talk/language ha!
-we started hanging her artwork in the guest bathroom.. we showed her it to her when she woke up from her nap. Later that evening, she was coloring and then I couldn't find her and she was trying to hang up her art work in the bathroom! ha! so smart!
-such a copy cat!
-she knows we pray holding hands before each meal, and she says amen at the end of prayers
Food:
-not into veggies.. but then again, who is?
- smoothies and naked drinks for our veggie intake
- turkey sausage
-eggs
- goat cheese
- cheese sticks
-raisins
-puffs
Other Notes:
-you can ask her where she put something (like her bow or the dustpan, etc) and she can go find it (even if we have no idea where she put it)
- size 4 diaper
-size 4 shoe
- fits in things 12+ months, mostly 18m pants due to length
- 6 teeth- 4 on top, 2 on bottom ( i keep thinking a molar is coming!)
- "ba" or paci only when sleeping or if fussy in the car
- fav thing to sleep with- green blankie
-naps about 2-3hrs after school (12-2ish)-- not always at the same time each day

Thursday
She is so impressionable... that has become quite fun. I give her a piece of tissue and say "wipe your boogie" and she wipes her nose/ face... then i say go wipe foxy's boogie and she proceeds to chase foxy determined to wipe her nose too.
Today she took my plate of frozen yogurt drops off my desk when I was in the kitchen... ate all of them and then put the plate back up on my desk....
We went to discovery place yesterday with Grammy. It was Grammy's first time going and it was Kinsley's first time since she started walking. She had a blast... we are going again tomorrow with miss ansley.
She blew her first bubble yesterday... only once... then she decided to eat the wand.
She brought me favorite items from her laundry basket to put on her. It's fun watching her make decisions.

hi's- anytime she walks in a room or passes someone
boo- when she's hiding, wants to be hiding, or something she likes just came into view

fav food: blueberries
fav place to play: cabinets and her chair
Sunday
Today we decided to try out the early service... it has just become SUCH a hectic day with making it to the 10:30 service (since gray likes to be there at 10) then after being in the nursery for 2 1/2hrs. we venture straight to maw maw's house for another 3 hours without any nap unless she managed to sleep 10mins on the way there just to be woken up out of a deep slumber...so today we switched it up.
Kinsley got switched to another room, but the teacher never showed, so she was in with all the 18m-just under 2yr old kiddos.. i was nervous because there were a lot of kids, but they had good help and the people were really nice. They had a lot of big girl toys too like kitchens and riding toys-- so i think kinsley had a good time. She was making friends whenever we picked her up.
She has been wanting to walk a lot more today, I think it is because she had been watching all those other kids in the nursery haha.

just notes
Shuggy came over to visit and kept trying to get Kinsley to say "shuggy." Kins got out "boogie" and my mom was about to settle for that, when all of the sudden she said it! Her "s's" aren't perfect but as close as she could get.
She loves to hide. She could play peek-a-boo all day. She loves putting things on her head or covering her face and then saying "boo." Recently, she has started hiding things too. So far we have found the spatula, spoon, and her juice in the laundry basket; an empty yogurt container in the toaster oven; and perfectly good things in the office wastebasket.

14 months
We have been on the road for over a week now. We are in Ohio for my college roommate, Sam and her fiancé mark's wedding. We drove straight to Ohio, leaving at 6pm and arriving at 3:30am. Good news was kins slept the whole way... Bad news was we didn't get but about 1 hr of sleep that night. Luckily she took a three hr nap and we were able to nap too-- even if it was just a little bit. I am sooo looking forward to sleeping tonight!
Kinsley is walking a little by herself but soon to take off like a pro.
She has 4 teeth on the top and 2 on the bottom.
She is starting to mimic what we do or say.
She "winks" at you.
She has added the lion and cat sounds to her repertoire.
She wants to use silverware and drink from a cup though we aid her in doing them.
She still sleeps 7-7 for the most part. Naps are either 9:30-10:30, 3-4 or 1 long one 11-2ish.
She has moved to size 4 diapers.
She wears 12-18m clothes depending on brand.
Check out the pics my sis took over on her blog!

Beach vaca continues
On Monday, the in-laws were back and we packed up the beach stuff and walked to the beach! I've really enjoyed walking instead of driving the golf cart everywhere this time.
Kinsley loved collecting shells and jumping the waves.
We played our new obsession, monopoly deal, while kins napped.
Later, Grammy and I took kinsley on a walk to the park. Poppy and hubby met us up there later. Two little boys were up there that were 6 and 3 years old. They wanted to play with kinsley so bad. They were just like gray and zac when they were little. Kinsley loves little kids but they don't always realize that she's still a baby.
We had Mawmaw and pawpaw porter over for a low country boil? I think that's what it's called... Kins and I ate turkey burgers instead.
We introduced the in-laws to monopoly deal.
Tuesday, Gray and the other guys golfed. After they got back, we went shopping in pawleys island and at some thrift stores. Kins got something at every store just about. She got a monkey, a new nightlight, and the most adorable blue and white romper from grammy. Then we went out for lunch where kins entertained us with eating lemons. She loved our reaction so much she still made faces without even putting the lemon to her lips ha!
Wednesday was our last beach day.
Kins got some new sunglasses and we painted our toes.
Thursday kins woke up super early-at 5am! Gray got up with her but i couldnt fall back asleep. We packed up and left early for home sweet home.. Only for a couple hours until we were leaving for Ohio.
